I haven't updated this for months!!!!
Okay here's a break down...
I've finished 2 rounds of P90X and now I'm on my 74th day on P90X Plus. You're probably thinking I'm super ripped by now...WRONG! I'm fit and in the best shaped I've ever been, however, I didn't start P90X to lose weight but more to tone up and be healthier. I don't and never have followed the diet plan...I will never unless I have to...I LOVE FOOD!!! I do eat healthier and make healthier choices but I still get my occasional junk food cravings.
Let me tell you w/o the diet alone after my first round of P90X, I've gone from a size 8 to a size 2. Now, I'm a size 0 and from size L shirts to size XS shirts. I'm quite pleased with the results and I think it's the best workout for me by far...then again I've never really worked out before. Just a few visits to the gym here and there but nothing major like this. I kept at it and never missed a single day in 180 days. However, when I started the PLUS, I might have missed 3-4 days (on vacation). I usually bring the X with me when I'm on vacation but the last time I was on vacay, I just really didn't have the time to do it :(
I'm still working on toning my abs...I'm almost there (i think). I'm happy with my arms and everything else. I'll put up pictures/video soon!

P90X Update: Week 10 - Day 4
3 more weeks to go!!! P90X classic.
Wow it went by fast! My first 2 weeks was the hardest. Actually the first week killed. Plyometrics left my body aching for days. I kept it up even though I was so sore. Tony Horton (the instructor/trainer) in the video got a bit annoying after awhile, so I just mute him and listen to my iPod while I worked out. Like most people I know...I too love Kenpo. I do more reps than Tony and his team and I do it a lot faster to give me more burn. Yoga X? well I don't do it...I go to the Yoga studio instead and do Hot Yoga for 90 mins and it gives me more burn.
As I mentioned in my first week P90X blog, I don't follow the Nutritional Plan that came with the dvds. I'm still trying to eat healthy, however, have a few junk here and there...just enough to satisfy my cravings.
I've noticed some changes in my body. I've got more toned around my upper body, arms, back and chest. My lower body is losing fat moderately...getting toned as well. However, my mid-section is still a little chubby. I find that it's the hardest to workout. The Ab workout that came with it is awesome. I can do them all without stalling now but like I said I'm still a little chubby around the belly. So, I've decided for my last month til my 90th day, I will do doubles. That means more cardio for me. That's one way of speeding things up for my mid-section.
I'm in my 4th day doing doubles and it's not bad. I plan to do another round of P90X after my 90th day and I think I'm going to continue doing doubles. I've received many compliments about my weight loss. Motivates me to work harder everytime I hear one.
My initial weight - Day 1 was 115lbs. After my 30th day - 113lbs...then 60th day - back to 115lbs. Why is it that it seems like I'm gaining than losing weight?...I asked that to myself...I've realized that I've gained a great amount of muscle mass in my body and yet I'm slimmer than Day 1. So, I didn't let my unconsistent weight measurements discouarage me. My weight back in high school was 110 lbs and I was pretty slim and no muscles. I can now fit to my high school clothes (no idea why I still have them lying around...it's been 9 yrs haha). I can now fit in a size 0 pants. I was wearing size 6 or 8 before p90x.
So...does P90X work? hell ya!!!! I strongly recommend to all of you to give it a try. Ever since I've started doing it, my friends and collegues are now on it and they love it. All you have to do is Bring It everyday and keep pressing play. Don't be discourage, and you will get results...might not be as fast as the guys you see in YouTube but you will eventually get good results. As for us women, I gotta tell you know, it's going to take us twice as long to see results as our male counterparts...don't let that get to you. Just keep at it.
I couldn't do any pull ups in my first 2 months...on my 60th day..I was able to do 3...big accomplishments...well maybe 2 full one and 1 wimpy one. I can do more push ups now. I feel healthier and I feel great everyday.
Also, if you want faster results, follow the diet plan. As for me...i love food too much to give up certain things. however, i try to eat low fat things and low in calories. I try to eat 6x a day and decreased my pop/soda intake.
I'll keep you posted and I will post a picture here soon.

Get Fit - P90X
I'm on Week 1 - Day 4 of P90X...very intense workout for people that don't really workout (me!!!).
I used to be very active back in High School/Grades school - played basketball, tennis, and pretty much walked and biked everywhere until I learned how to drive and started working full-time after college...then it was downhill from there...I gained 20lbs within a few months. I kept eating like the way I used to eat back in High School/College but wasn't as active. Just 3 years ago, I started practicing bikram yoga. I don't do it as much now because of time and money. Quite expensive. So I decided to purchase P90X. Not much into infomercials but this one seems to work for a lot of people. I researched it online and watched "before" and "after" videos/experiences of people just like me that have tried it. It looks like it worked for them and they're no infomercial actors so that pretty much got me to buy it.
I'm not going to go into detail about it. I'll post my "before" measurements and pictures soon. So far so good. I did plyometrics and it's been 2 days and I'm still aching. I don't follow the Nutrition Plan. I've never done any kind of diet plans before in my life and I just don't want to be restricted and not able to eat my fave foods (pastries, pizza, etc.) I think I eat moderately healthy. I don't really eat fast food or junk. My goal is to get tighter, toned, and maybe one day have really tight abs :)

I don't do New Years Resolution...never have...but I do set goals for myself every year. I start with list of goals in the beginning of the year. More like a checklist of goals. I'm not pressured to do them but I try my best to achieve each one. Resolutions are like - do or die kind of thing. Most people I know ends up breaking them and becomes next year's resolution. Well, this is my opinion...goals and resolution-completely different.
So this year, my short-term goals are:
1. Get Fit - started P90X (March 8) 90 days of intense workout. I also practice bikram yoga, but not as often as before. I started it 3 years ago.
2. Learn How to Swim - oh yes, I'm 27 y/o and can't tread water...I want to maximize FUN when I travel to hot destinations...(I love Maui).
3. Learn How to Play the Guitar - I want music in my life...closest thing right now is my i-touch. I took guitar lessons when I was 6 but I wasn't really into it back then.
4. Keep travelling - Money is tight this year so I don't think I'll be doing any international travelling. I'll keep it within Canada/US for now.
...so far this is all I have set for this year.
Last year's goals:
Get Braces - Fix my smile! I still have braces but they come off at the end of this year.
Travel - went Maui, Vegas, and San Francisco
